New Website for Visitors for North Idaho

March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- The North Idaho Tourism Alliance is a collaborative group of Chambers of Commerce and Visitors Bureaus from all over the five northern counties of North Idaho.

They recently invested in a website redesign that will allow potential visitors to learn why the area would be a great vacation destination. There will be constant updating of the site with events and activities. You can find the website at: http://visitnorthidaho.com

The waters of the Pend Oreille, Coeur d’Alene, and Priest Lake, set against lush evergreen mountains, makes Idaho’s northern region an unforgettable vacation paradise. After the glaciers of the last great ice age melted, they left beautiful lakes, mountains, rivers, and fertile valleys.

Whether looking for lodging, planning a day trip, or seeking general tips, the website will have it all! Go skiing or snowmobiling on 400 miles of trail around Priest Lake. Get that tent out and go camping in Kootenai County under the stars that shine as brightly as the garnets and silver we pull from our mines. Put a boat out on the waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene, or dip a toe into Priest River. Hike and bike the trails all around our famous panhandle, or just sit back and enjoy the majestic view.
