Henry County Hospital Partners with Pain Management Group to Open Pain Center

FINDLAY, Ohio - March 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Henry County Hospital and Pain Management Group announce today a partnership to bring balanced pain management care to Henry County and surrounding areas. Henry County Hospital Pain Management Center, scheduled to open March 21, 2013, is located at Henry County Hospital, 1600 East Riverview Avenue in Napoleon, Ohio.

The new relationship provides Henry County Hospital the ability to maximize available resources and provide comprehensive pain management services to the community.

In order to provide high quality care, a service that provides a balanced comprehensive approach to pain management was important.” said Kim Bordenkircher, CEO of Henry County Hospital. “The Pain Management Center will provide a balanced approach to pain focused on treating patients through a combination of diagnostics, minimally invasive outpatient procedures, physical modalities, and therapy, while decreasing the focus on prescription medication.  If prescription drugs are included in an individualized pain treatment plan, the focus becomes managing those medications for optimal patient benefit.”

The new pain management center will offer treatment for a variety of conditions including neck and back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pelvic pain, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), nerve damage, as well as pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms and shingles.

Dr. Panos Bakos, will be the lead physician at Henry County Hospital Pain Management Center. Dr. Bakos is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. He completed his residency and fellowship at New England Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine located in Boston, Massachusetts.
