Experient Hires Barb Herod as New VP, Association Sales

Herod comes to Experient from the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau where she helped manage the sales of the city as a first-tier destination for meetings and conventions as their Associate Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region.

Herod brings over 20 years of hospitality industry experience to Experient. Prior to the San Diego CVB, she worked in sales management for The Kimpton Group, Hyatt and Holiday Inn.

In her new role, Herod will supervise Experient’s Association Strategic Sales Executives as well as its Business Development Department. She is based in the Arlington, Va. office.
