EFM was ranked the 24th fastest growing franchise group in Australia for revenue growth in the 2011-2012 financial year.
The BRW Fast Franchises list is hotly contested each year and this year, the list was particularly competitive.
According to BRWs stats, in the lead-up to this years list, only 17 franchise groups had made the list 4 times or more since 2004. EFM has now been featured in each of the 4 years it has entered for an award.
EFM Health Clubs now boasts a group of 66 health clubs franchises across 5 Australian states with plans for a further 6 clubs to open 2013.
EFM Managing Director, Mr. Matthew Lindblom said that the group's focus has been on growing existing club revenues as opposed to bolstering the group's revenue by starting a wave of new franchise units.
"One of our strategic goals is to implement manageable growth in terms of new franchise sites. Our goal over the past 3 financial years and for the foreseeable future is to assist our existing Franchisees to build profitable business."
The strategy of a franchisee-focused business model is obviously proving successful as the EFM looks towards inclusion in the Fast Franchise list for an astounding 5th year in a row in 2014.
