Feb. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- BRACKNELL, UK, February 20, 2013 – LSI Corporation  today announced that it will showcase a number of its newest storage solutions for the enterprise and datacentre at CeBIT 2013, 5-9 March in Hannover, Germany.

Visitors to the LSI stand (D60) in the Planet Reseller Hall (15) will be able to experience real-time demonstrations of LSI solutions addressing some of today’s biggest datacentre challenges.

LSI will showcase its unique family of flash-based products featuring LSI® Nytro™ Application Acceleration Solutions.

Nytro MegaRAID® card:  A live demonstration will show how deployment of a Nytro MegaRAID card can accelerate storage performance in a VMware ESXi environment, by enabling or disabling the automatic hotspot migration. In some cases achieving a 47x faster response time.

Nytro XD solution:  LSI will also show how combining high capacity flash with caching software can transparently accelerate existing SAN environments without having to alter infrastructures.

Syncro™ Shared DAS Storage Solutions
Visitors to the LSI stand can experience how LSI’s recently announced Syncro architecture can provide fault tolerant capabilities as a key part of a high availability storage system.  By offering cache coherency across LSI MegaRAID controllers and redundant SAS interconnect paths to storage, this solution can deliver cost-effective failover– improving the way data is stored, protected and accessed, via a shared and scalable architecture.

Complete SAS Portfolio
We will also be showcasing 12Gb/s technology delivering 2x increase in throughput performance for 6Gb/s systems, increasing the ability to scale systems in terms of number of drives and overall capacity, as well as unleashing the full performance potential of next-generation server platforms.

“CeBIT provides an excellent platform to discuss the latest technologies that can help organisations resolve their data storage and performance issues,” said Thomas Pavel, Director Channel Sales EMEA.  “The continuing growth in data driven by mobile devices and cloud-based services is challenging today’s infrastructure. Our storage solutions are designed to deliver flexibility and boost performance, which is crucial for the next generation of datacentres.”
