Follow on Google News | LEDucation Expands Expo Space by 60% and Officially Sells OutExhibit space for 7th annual premier event on LED Technology to be held in NYC on March 20th is 100% sold out!
By: Designers Lighting Forum of NY Due to an escalating waiting list of companies that requested exhibit space, LEDucation organizers moved the 2013 event to a location that would increase floor space by up to 60%. The annual event will remain at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City but the entire event has been moved from the top floor of the hotel to a larger exhibition space located on the first floor. Both the exposition and educational sessions for LEDucation 7 will be held in the Penn Plaza Pavilion of the Hotel Pennsylvania and can be easily accessed from the street entrances of both 7th Avenue and West 33rd streets across from Madison Square Garden. “Given that we have consistently sold out of exhibit space for the past 5 years, the event committee felt that 2013 provided a great opportunity to relocate the event to a larger venue to allow for our continued growth and success,” commented Event Co-Chair, Burt Grant. "As the market and technology for LED’s continues to grow and expand, so does the number of manufacturers that want to participate in this great event. The expansion of the show floor was just a natural progression for LEDucation to continue its position as the industry’s leading single day event on LED Technology.” LEDucation 7 is expected to draw more than 2,200 lighting and design professionals at its seventh annual event on March 20th, 2013 in New York. The Exhibit Hours will open at 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with LED presentations beginning at 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Online Registration is currently open at www.leducation.org. DLF and IES members can attend at no charge with advance registration and $20 for all other advance registrations. Students are also encouraged to attend as a complimentary guest with a valid ID. LEDucation 7 will be held at the Hotel Pennsylvania – Penn Plaza Pavilion (Registration located on 1st floor) located between 32nd & 33rd Streets – across from Madison Square Garden.
