The new servers have been designed and deployed in response to a dynamic and changing market, in which users now expect far more powerful dedicated servers for high performance remote computing and virtualisation.
Netwise Hosting’s technical team are building these new servers in-house, using custom Dell hardware based on their award-winning cloud server range.
The organisation will be sticking to three primary server types (Entry Level, Mid-Range and High-End), as well as introducing a brand new Storage server for those with big data requirements.
Servers now enter into the mix with Quad Core Intel Xeon processors and 16GB DDR3 RAM, as well as Solid State Drive options for those looking for increased performance. These machines start from just £119 per month, making it one of the most affordable multicore dedicated servers available in the UK.
Netwise Hosting’s new Mid-Range offering contains Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon processors, 32GB DDR3 RAM, and Solid State Drive options, retailing at £159 per month.
High-End servers enjoy even faster Dual Quad Core Xeon’s, 64GB DDR3 RAM, and a Solid State Drive / SATA drive combination as standard, all starting from £199 per month. Coupled with the servers impressive 10TB of bandwidth, this machine is aimed at affordable high performance computing applications.
The brand new Storage servers are provisioned with Dual Hexcore AMD Opteron processors, 32GB RAM and 4 x 3TB SATA drives, with options available to provision the machine with up to 12 drives. These servers start at £189 per month, and perform brilliantly as backup / storage servers, or backend drones in big data cloud setups. As such, these servers also come with 10TB of premium bandwidth as standard.
The Netwise Hosting team are now taking orders on their new dedicated server range. This new set of servers are already proving highly popular with UK and international users, with the first run of machines expected to sell out later this month.
