Clients can now access Giertsen Company prepared disaster plans via the GiertsenCo.com website to have constant access to their disaster plan.

ProTrack is a new tool offered by Giertsen Company that allows clients disaster plan information to be posted to the ProTrack website.  This allows clients easy access to their personalized disaster plan, including floor plans, maps, photos, and utility/shutoff information.

Remote access to a disaster plan is important in the case that that a paper plan is in the effected building or the disaster plan administrator is out of town. Employees can access the plan through the website and take action right away. It can take the panic out of the emergency situation.

“We are looking to make the process as simple as possible.  We spend some time compiling the information, format it into a printable packet, and post the individual pieces online. If there is an emergency you simply log in, click on the section you are looking for and take action right away.” Says Charlie DeLong, social media manager of Giertsen Company of MN.

Charlie DeLong has been working with Pat McCarthy (Emergency Services for Giertsen Company of MN) to turn this idea into reality. They have spoken with multiple professionals in the Minneapolis area to get their building information loaded into the system.
