Construction Resources Recognized as HomeAid Atlanta’s Trade Partner of the Year

Jan. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- ATLANTA – Construction Resources, Inc. of Decatur, Ga. has been awarded HomeAid Atlanta’s Trade Partner of the Year for 2012. This is the second time that Construction Resources has received this honor, and the first time that the HomeAid Atlanta charity has awarded the Trade Partner of the Year award to the same recipient twice for outstanding generosity. HomeAid Atlanta is the charity founded by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association focused on providing transitional housing for the temporarily homeless.

“We are truly honored to just be able to help, in the best way we know how, where help is needed most,” said Construction Resources President Mitch Hires. “Our customers have supported us, and their support allows us to give back to the local community; so we are incredibly proud to do so.”

This past year, Construction Resources donated and installed countertops and a tile backsplash for a kitchen renovation project at Atlanta Mission’s Fuqua Hall and also completely re-carpeted a Decatur Cooperative Ministry transitional family home.

Construction Resources is dedicated to giving back in multiple ways, and another way the company has been able to help families in need is as a premier member of the Artisan Group, a network of countertop professionals. The Artisan Group hosts a national sales event, Counters for a Cause, which donates a portion of every sale to the Homes for Our Troops charity. During last year’s Counters for a Cause sales rally, Construction Resources raised the highest amount toward the overall donation, proving that the Decatur-based fabricator could measure up in both sales and generosity against other fabricators across the country.
