Jan. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Joss Whedon may be up to his neck in work with his new series S.H.I.E.L.D, but that doesn’t stop him from getting involved with even more. The Buffy mastermind is now working closely with another project entitled #DeadThings. The story is lead by a morally vague, biracial, vampire by the name of Aryk Killen. The project is based off the 2012 Best-Seller novel, #DeadThings, A Novel, by Reese Riley. In an interview with Spin Magazine, Riley talks candidly about Whedon and the future.

“Joss Whedon is a man that I think is an absolute genius; I grew up watching his work From Buffy to Fire Fly to The Avengers. The man can do no wrong. He has an ability to bring you into a completely different world that can be complicated at times but the story is so good you learn every detail about this “universe” –I  can’t wait to work with this man.  “

Joss Whedon and Dark Horse Comics are in talks with Corona Sky Productions; Riley’s publishing company to turn the #DeadThings series to a short comic. Corona Sky Productions have already announced the release of the graphic novel version of #DeadThings, A Novel. Set for a Fall 2013 release. Also expected to be released in Fall’13 is Infinite Carnage, the follow up to #DeadThings.
