For the 3rd year in a row brides and grooms-to-be along with their guests perused the ballroom filled with gorgeous displays and exhibits set-up by Atlanta's finest wedding professionals. The showcase provided one stop shopping for everything brides need to plan the wedding of their dreams. Everything from honeymoon packages, venues, and jewelry, to food tastings, photography, gorgeous bridal fashions, and so much more. There were exciting giveaways throughout the day including a grand prize honeymoon getaway to Barcelo Resort Punta Cana, and a $5,000 couture wedding gown.
The BlackBride.com Wedding Gown Collection by Therez Fleetwood was revealed for the first time during the fashion segment which featured a special presentation and unveiling of the 'Della' gown in honor of best friend to CEO Mary Chatman who modeled in last year's show and lost her battle to cancer shortly afterwards. Fleetwood, a staple in the wedding industry, also debuted her couture exotic spring line of wedding gowns for the third year in a row, while Bryan K. Osburn was back for the second year featuring his dazzling "Black and White" Collection accompanied by dazzling handmade jewels. "SuperMogul"
Star power was evident with, National TV and Radio Personality Egypt Sherrod who gifted one lucky bride with a $250 VISA gift card. Atlanta's own DJ Blak Magic providing non-stop, crowd pleasing music that kept the mood exciting and a special guest appearance by international recording artist, Jeff Spain finalist on "Sunday's Best" and star of "Almost Married" on BET and Centric. Recording artist Antonia Lawrence hit the stage with a special performance, singing "Power of a Woman." Attendees were serenaded during the fashion segment by talented opera singer, Leslee Christopher and emotionally charged dance performance by Eagles Landing Dance Troop closed out the show.
