ChannelEyes Executive Named Chairman of IT Industry Leadership Group

Jan. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- East Greenbush, NY - ChannelEyes, a leading technology company, announced today that co-founder Jay McBain has been named chairman of an information technology (IT) industry leadership group.

McBain is the new chairman of the CompTIA MSP Community (http://www.comptia.org/membership/communities/msppartners.aspx), a group of industry leaders collaborating to advance technologies that are vital to the IT industry and its customers. The group also provides guidance and leadership on the programs, education and research offered by CompTIA, the non-profit trade association for the IT industry.

“I am excited to continue work with this large and vibrant community of Managed Services Providers (MSPs) and look forward to working with the Executive Council to further drive adoption and growth,” said McBain.

McBain brings 19 years of experience in the technology industry to CompTIA, living in 5 different states and Canadian provinces during that time. He is the co-founder and Chief Social Officer of ChannelEyes and is responsible for driving the new company’s mission to reinvent Channel Communication. Prior to starting ChannelEyes, he was a Senior Vice President at Autotask and led the Small and Medium Business Unit at Lenovo and IBM.
