The designer has since become a champion in the revival of Thewa as a craft and has used this extensively in her collections. Other traditional Indian crafts like Kundan soon became her inspiration.
The Roopa Vohra label uses traditional Indian crafts and modern styles as the inspiration. The designer is credited with developing her own craft called Naqaashi, which is essentially gold embossed on glass. It is a timeless craft that has been used extensively since the time she created the same. The designer’s label, Roopa Vohra, is a staple for stylish celebrities including leading Bollywood starlets. She showcases her collections Internationally and has been creating inspiring styles since 1997.
