Jan. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- The Plaza at The Stayton at Museum Way, Fort Worth’s first and only true life care senior living community, has received a deficiency-free healthcare inspection rating from the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities Services. In achieving this exceptional rating, the community has reached a milestone in their mission to provide the absolute highest quality of care.

The inspection process lasted several days and included a team of surveyors from the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities Services. The full continuum of nursing care was inspected, including: dining services, laundry services, environmental aspects, administrative practices, and human resources. Interviews were also conducted with residents, their family members, and team members. According to the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities Services, the average nursing home is cited with seven deficiencies.

“Earning a deficiency-free inspection shows that we set a high standard within the senior-living and healthcare fields,” said Justin Spooner, executive director, The Stayton at Museum Way. “We continue to reach for the highest level of performance, and it is something that we plan to continuously improve through extensive training of team members, performing self-imposed audits and deploying best practices.”

“Our core goal has never changed here at The Plaza at The Stayton,” said Charlie Brewer, president and CEO of Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation, which sponsors The Stayton. “Every day we strive to make sure that our residents receive the absolute best level of care. The Stayton has earned a reputation of excellence and we have continued to bring an elegant ambience in to a clinical setting, focusing on each resident’s individuality and the needs of their families.”
