Paul Lewis signs on to produce Iranian metal band Underground Dream

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Producer/Singer/Songwriter Paul Lewis has signed on to produce Iranian metal band Underground Dream. The collaboration began over a year ago via Skype while waiting for the band to arrive in the United States. Pre-Production and tracking have commenced in Los Angeles.

The band was discovered by Lewis while sorting through thousands of submissions. Lewis says, "I searched through thousands of entries and only a few stood out. Underground Dream was at the top of my list. They had something special from the start. It has been almost two years in the making, to be separated by so many miles, oceans, countries and culture yet still be connected is rare. This will certainly be a high point in my career."

The band which consists of singer/composer/guitarist Behzad, bassist Amirali, drummer Ali Reza and the newest member lead guitarist Jordan bring a unique twist musically and visually to the standard metal formula. The music features an aggressive metal edge that is unique and true to their culture. Lewis says, "Lyrically the songs hit you hard like a crowbar to the face, letting you into their world that is sometimes frightening, and mostly misunderstood. They really allow the listener to get to see a culture unknown to the west except for what we see on TV or what we read." Underground Dream is schedule to debut their live show in the US late spring 2013.

Unicity Productions formed in 2008 to produce the first of its kind Unicity Performing Arts festival is a full service production company based on out of Los Angeles, CA. The company which specializes in film, television and live events and is well known for being innovative is lead by producers Fred Munzert and Michel Grey.
