When you fall in love with an Aries, you can already consider yourself to be a pretty special person. Defined as the Infant of the Zodiac, Aries people tend to expect things from people around them. They want everything done on their time table and, basically, want you to be at their beck and call. While this may be somewhat frustrating and irritating, it’s also something that you must forgive the typical Aries for. It’s a lot like a baby crying for something it needs. When a baby cries because it’s hungry or it needs a diaper change, or it doesn’t feel well, people don’t get upset with the baby. Instead, they immediately give the baby what it needs so it will feel better and stop crying.

So an Aries may call you up at 3AM because he suddenly remembered that there’s something he needs for you to do a week from now. This is also the same person  that will leave you standing out in a driving rainstorm after agreeing to give you a ride home from work while he’s sitting in a bar having a drink with a friend. It seems he totally forgot all about you.  These are the things you can expect from an Aries.

Aries must have things done their way. They’re also rather annoyed by slowness from other people. They’ll even just take over any situation that has begun to get on their nerves. An Aries can be selfish, impatient, and have a quick temper. He can also be very strict and disciplined.

Of course, an Aries isn’t ALL bad, obviously, or you wouldn’t have been attracted to him in the first place. He was most likely enthusiastic, direct and honest when talking to you. At first, he’ll probably be THE person to count on because of his generosity. However, he’ll also be rather competitive and this isn’t always a good thing. He may come across as being somewhat aggressive. Aries people must learn to be even-tempered and patient, although an Aries is brave, confident, enterprising and ready to take risks. These are also very devoted parents to the point that they will do anything for their children.

It does take some patience, understanding and compassion to be in love with an Aries and maintain a lasting relationship. If you get lucky, you’ll hook up with an Aries that has the emphasis on his positive qualities. That will temper out the negative ones. Either way, though, you’ll still need patience when that expectant and demanding side comes out in him. This is where you’ll probably really need to grit your teeth to keep from saying anything you’ll regret later. Instead, try to point out to him what he’s doing. He probably won’t get what you’re saying but it’s at least worth a try, and if he loves you, he’s going to want to keep you from being upset with him. This may take a few tries for it to be successful.

Being in love with an Aries doesn’t have to be a headache. It can be a great connection for you as long as your traits complement his.
