David Fiske Offers Genealogy Research and Writing Services

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 7, 2013 - Fiske is a professional librarian (with a Master's Degree in Library Science), who has done a substantial amount of genealogy research. He has also taught genealogy classes in the Capital District of New York State. He’s a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), a research member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), and a member of Heritage Hunters of Saratoga County.

Fiske has researched and written a number of local history articles relating to people in Saratoga County. The articles were published in Ballston Spa Life, a weekly newspaper published by The Saratogian . He is also the author of the book Solomon Northup: His Life Before and After Slavery  (2012).

One of the options available to clients is to have Fiske write up biographical information on their ancestors. The write-up would be similar to the local history articles he has done and can be based on research conducted by Fiske, or by the client.
