Galaxy Note 2 contract deals-S pen is the biggest appeal

Jan. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- With a usual 3100mAh battery, the Galaxy Note 2 can stay alive on standby way longer than other smart phones. My first week with this phone was quite light on communications & travel, and we merely had to charge the handset each day. Similar to each other smartphone, it is vulnerable to battery exhaustion in low signal regions. In the second sub basement of an underground parking construction in Washington DC, the Galaxy Note got heated up and consumed a quarter of its battery.  In the outdoors, the battery use leveled out & lasted the remaining day with casual surfing and texting.

We are anything but impartial about the S Pen. We hated the resistive stylus mobile UI on Palm & Windows Mobile, & capacitive stylus interfaces till now have been failing to astonish me. Though the S Pen is dissimilar.

Perhaps it's the responsiveness, perhaps it is the manner the handwriting is produced in Android, possibly it is the hard to stump handwriting recognition engine, perhaps it is the instinctive erase attribute; whatever it is, the stylus is convenient to utilize & easy to love. The S Pen app menu UI is totally ugly, though the notes, drawings, & figures are easily created.

As a dedicated Evernote user, though, we are finding it very hard to include the S Pen workflow into the Evernote use. If you happen to be a heavy user of Evernote, the stylus could be similarly troublesome for you as well. We have not yet resigned to this awkward relationship.

Majority of users will not even know the dissimilarity between screen resolutions. We should confess, it is not something we can readily discern so easily. But, as it is a high end device, you get a decent display of all the images, movies, etc. We like the huge display of this handset.
