Dickenson Bay

The beach at Dickenson Bay is an ideal Caribbean beach with soft, golden sand. You’ll find a plethora of activities, from water activities and glass bottom boat rides to beach bars and sports clubs. The area boasts some of the most luxurious hotels, which means it is often crowded before the sun has even risen above the hotel rooftops. Pepperz n’ Lime is the main beach bar. It offers seating both indoors and on the beach and serves up some of the best Mexican and Caribbean cuisine around. Runaway Bay Beach, which is to the south of Dickenson Bay, offers a less crowded alternative in this part of Antigua.

Pigeon Point Beach

Located in the south at the mouth of Falmouth Harbour, Pigeon Point Beach is a popular gathering place for locals on weekends and holidays. The shallow waters and lack of large waves makes it ideal for families with young children. While the weekends find this beach filled with Antiguan families enjoying music and picnic lunches, from Monday through early Friday, you’ll have the beach to yourself excepting a few sunbathers from nearby hotels and the sea grape trees.

Jolly Beach

This secluded beach, located on the west coast of the island, is ideal for diving or simply relaxing under the palms on the flawless stretch of white sand. The bay is protected, allowing for smooth water and good swimming. There is no public transportation to Jolly Beach, making it an excellent choice for a quiet day on a perfect beach.

Half Moon Bay

Located on the eastern shore, Half Moon Bay is mostly deserted, but offers a beautiful pink and white sandy beach. It is sheltered from the strong waves of the Atlantic by a stunning reef that is definitely worth exploring! Because of the beach’s location, it is an ideal spot for yacht charters.
