Dec. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- If have bought a Windows 8 computer you MUST check to see if your CPU is healthy. The CPU is like your car's engine, if it "revs" too high for too long, it can cause stuttering, video choppiness, and the CPU can overheat. Here is how to make this check:

*** Use the old familiar <ctrl><alt><delete> just like you did in the old days.
*** Select "Task Manager" from the menu.
*** The Task Manager Window will now come up. Select "Performance".
*** At the bottom of the window you will see a constantly-changing value called "Utilization" which is seen as a percent%.
*** Study this value for 3-5 minutes, and run a Youtube for 1 minute during the test while looking at "Utlization".

>>>>>>> If it generally stays between 0-25% your computer is fine and needs no fixing.
>>>>>>> If it generally stays between 25-75% your CPU is over-cycling and should be modified.

Modifications you can make
====================
Open "Control Panel"
Select "Administrative Tools"
Select "Services"
You can try disabling:
HP Support Assistant Service (if you have an HP machine)
Windows Management Instrumentation
WMI Performance Adapter

You will see a huge difference in Task Manager Performance after you try these options.
