Originally built in 1890 by an ancient charitable organisation that was founded to distribute free medicine to the poor, the building now requires large scale remodelling and repairs to a major part of the buildings exterior and interiors structures.
As Managing Director and project leader Nathan Harley explains, the work is a contract that will completely transform the building head to toe:
“We are extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to refurbish this lovely structure. Due to its age, it needs extensive work from top to bottom such as electrics, timber work, full redecoration, news kitchen and bathrooms, floorings and more… the list is long!”
As Nathan explains, the challenge is no problem for his experienced team…
“Thankfully, we have a great team here at Resource and I have every confidence that they will deliver a finish that goes way beyond the expectations of the client. A building of this era deserves a team of knowledgeable and experienced contractors and I have no doubt, we will give this building a new lease of life!”
As he concludes, this is just the start of a long road to recovery for this building but it will be worth the effort…
