Texworld USA Marks Highest Attendance Ever

Dec. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- The ninth edition of Texworld USA showcased 285 exhibitors from 16 countries and welcomed  3,390 attendees. These numbers represent an increase of 16% over the highest attended edition ever in July 2008 and an increase of 21% over July 2009.

Sears Canada, Michael Smith, Sustainability Analyst, Canada: Texworld USA was a valuable opportunity for Sears Canada to establish new supplier relationships in a cost-effective manner. Messe Frankfurt made it easy to connect with leading suppliers from around the globe who offer environmentally preferred fabrics. As Sears Canada seeks to source more eco apparel, it was helpful to have Lenzing supply chain partners identified in the show guide as well as exhibitors highlighted with their eco certifications. Finally, I was impressed by the seminars which offered insights on sourcing and marketing eco products.
