2013 Agribusiness Conference Schedule Announced

Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- The nation’s premier event for insurance professionals serving the farm and agribusiness industries will return in 2013 with six regional conferences.  The newly christened Emmett J. Vaughan Agribusiness Conference will be offered in Sacramento, California; Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; Richmond, Virginia; Des Moines, Iowa; and Arlington, Texas.  

All of the Agribusiness Conferences provide classes leading to the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation as well Breakout Sessions on a wide variety of topics, many of them new for 2013.  “As the complexity of agribusiness accounts increases there is a need to constantly refine the educational opportunities available for agents, brokers and company personnel to better serve their clients,” stated Cheryl Koch, Conference Director.  New Breakout topics include Cyber Risks, Organic Farming, Sporting and Recreational Liabilities, Family Farm Perpetuation and Nurseries and Garden Centers.  

The Agribusiness Conference is a unique opportunity to learn about the farm and agricultural insurance industry; network with agribusiness insurance professionals and earn the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist Designation (AFIS).
