Watson, Jr. will discuss the inspiration and purpose of his new book, “Joyfilled: Discovering the Profound Value of the Joy Within,” and how individuals can harness their inner God-given joy as a resource.
The public is invited to a special presentation and book signing on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, 1430 Carew Street in Springfield. Watson will discuss the inspiration and purpose of “Joyfilled” Joyfilled is an insightful and inspirational book. It examines the value, power, and potency of the joy we possess within. Watson proposes that the full measure of our God-given joy is a rich, inner resource. It is a profound and valuable asset. This joy empowers us to be more energetic, creative and productive. To be joyfilled is to understand that we can harness our enormous personal potential to impact the world. The Joyfilled Principle states, in effect, that our greatest aspirations and goals are more doable and achievable with joy! The book signing is free and open to the public. Watson, Jr., D.Min., is the senior pastor of Canaan Baptist Church of Christ, in Springfield, MA. He has authored a number of published articles. Besides his writings, he has participated with numerous religious organizations and a variety of agencies promoting community and economic development. He holds a doctoral degree from Drew University, and Master of Divinity and Bachelor degrees from Harvard University. Dr. Watson lives in Connecticut and is the joyfilled husband of wife, Annie, and father of daughter, Pearl Marie. They are expecting an addition to the family. End
