Once you have selected your directory, such as DMOZ, proceed to add your site or URL, making sure to include the complete URL. Some submission directories require you to select a category for your website. If you are asked to do so, select a category that is relevant for the type of website you have and then select, “add url.” You may be asked to enter some type of security code for human verification, enter the code and hit submit. If done correctly you will receive a confirmation afterwards. Also try to select a good search engine that has the capable of indexing your website to several directories at once.
