The new GlobalRecalls portal is the first online tool gathering product recall notifications from several jurisdictions around the world and allowing users to search product recall notifications per product and per country in their own language.
For several years, the number of recalls has been constantly increasing throughout the world and this portal aims to raise awareness on safety concerns and to promote and improve product safety.

Businesses will be able to check existing or new products hazards in different countries, and national authorities will be alerted on unsafe products they should remove from the market to protect consumers.
