Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Bob Himschoot of Crews Environmental, a Master Septic Tank contractor in Southwest Florida, was re-elected to the board of the Florida Onsite Wastewater Association (FOWA). He will serve on the board as the chairman of both the Legislative Affairs and Political Action Committee. His main function in this role will be to promote the legislative agenda to the Florida legislative session. This year’s agenda will include a focus on the proper disposal of septic waste, address the issue of unlicensed contracting and continue to work in partnership with other associations to promote clean water.

“We’ve been educating our customers throughout Southwest Florida for the past 30 years. Environmental and groundwater protection are issues I take very seriously. I am excited to serve the board in this capacity. We should have a positive impact on both wastewater practices in the septic industry and the environment as a whole,” said Himschoot.

FOWA is an organization comprised of septic professionals concerned with the quality and health of Florida’s water. FOWA seeks to educate the public on the advantages of maintaining septic systems as an environmentally safe and economical means of treating wastewater.
