RAMP attributes the demand to several factors, including the recent shift to U.S.-based production, its commitment to the environment and advancements in materials, and ski manufacturing technology.
“The factory has been working long hours to help keep up with demand,” said Factory Tech Evan Howard. “When you’re a passionate skier like the workers here in the RAMP factory, you put emphasis on getting people their skis before the snow starts to fall, even if that means I don’t get a full night of sleep until December.”
“We’re very excited by the growth in the run up to winter ‘12/’13,”
RAMP is currently accepting orders for its full line of sustainably hand-crafted skis, but currently the wait is around 2-3 weeks.
