The Verve Pipe Announces 2012 Holiday Shows in Chicago, Detroit and Grand Rapids

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 12, 2012 - Rounding out the year with home state Holiday shows is a tradition for Michigan alt-rockers The Verve Pipe. 2012 marks the eighth anniversary of the band’s annual Grand Rapids concert and the fourth for its Detroit/Ferndale event. They hope to foster another annual musical celebration with the addition of a Chicago show to this year’s festivities.

These concerts close out another active year for The Verve Pipe. In addition their appearance at Lollapalooza 2012, the band is readying material for a follow up to ‘A Family Album.’

The Verve Pipe charted hits on mainstream and alternative radio, including the #1 single “The Freshmen,” one of the most successful multi-format tracks of its decade.  The band has recently played high profile events like the Austin City Limits Festival, Lollapalooza and Central Park’s SummerStage delivering high-energy concert events as well as popular family concerts.
