PRLog - Nov. 9, 2012 - RAPID CITY, S.D. -- Rapid City, S.D. – The snowy white winter season is almost here, and to prepare for the flurries and festivities that the season brings, Jolly Lane Greenhouse and Jolly Lane Floral are announcing their highly anticipated seasonal event: the Holiday Open House. This year’s Holiday Open House is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 16th and Saturday, November 17th. On both days, the open house will begin at 8 AM and end at 5 PM, operating during normal business hours at both the Jolly Lane Greenhouse and Jolly Lane Floral.

This annual event hallmarks the end of the autumn and Halloween season for both Jolly Lane locations, bringing a close to the harvest time focus of this Rapid City greenhouse and florist. Pumpkins, scarecrows, cornstalks, spooky flower arrangements, and seasonal gourds are quickly replaced by an ample stock of freshly cut Christmas trees, flowers, and holiday décor. Jolly Lane Greenhouse and Jolly Lane Floral have everything you need to deck the halls and spread the cheer!

The Holiday Open House is made festive with hot drinks, treats, holiday wreaths, and Christmas lights everywhere you look. Opportunities to build the family photo album abound at Jolly Lane Greenhouse with numerous Christmas scenes and displays for snapping pictures. Photography is welcome at this location any time during regular Jolly Lane Greenhouse business hours.

The guest of honor at each year’s Holiday Open House is the flourishing poinsettias that come into bloom just in time for the annual event. These beautiful red and green plants are widely used in Christmas displays, as the star-shaped leaf is said to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem. Poinsettias are popular Christmas decorations in homes, churches, offices, and elsewhere across the US, and Jolly Lane grows enough of these festive plants to decorate all of Rapid City. Garnish your own holiday home with these blooming poinsettias.

These two Jolly Lane locations give everyone a good reason to welcome the winter season. Jolly Lane Floral and Jolly Lane Greenhouse invite you to stop by for a weekend of wintertime celebration and holiday cheer. Come enjoy food, drink, music, door prizes, special sales, and a festive atmosphere that’s sure to inspire in you the spirit of the holiday.

Jolly Lane Floral is located at 407 E. North Street, and Jolly Lane Greenhouse is found at 2962 Jolly Lane, just off of East Hwy 44.
