Born in New York and raised in Southside Jamaica Queens, the wife and mother of three wear many hats. Shante better known as “Shaya” began being an entrepreneur in 1990 when she owned Sista’s Fashion in NYC. Shante enrolled in York College and majored in business administration.

After graduation she felt the need to change her profession and continued her education in immigration law. While in John Jay College Shante received the opportunity to work for Frenkel Hershkowitz & Shafran LLP and yet she still worked on her building her own business.

After seven years with the law firm Shante decided to feed her passion in the designing and business.  Shante formed Shaya Design Inc. and in the course of three years the brand name Shaya developed notoriety for grand business skills.

Ms Traynham served as a community activist in Southside Jamaica Queens and being a member of the NAACP has played a great role in Shante’s movement of success. Shante has been interviewed by Crain’s New York business magazine for her marketing strategies in promoting her business.

During her career Shante Traynham has been awarded business woman of the year 2006, the who’s who award 2007 and the Fashion Focus award 2007. Shante is founder of Shaya’s Fashion Music group LLC, Shaya Design Inc, Eyelash Vizion marketing and brand agency and Eyelash Vizion Films LLC.

Shante remained focused and while maintaining the position of CEO of Shaya Design Inc., she became managing director for Raif Lanier Collections of NYC in 2007 and the Executive director for Mistaken Clothing of LA in 2008.

Most recently Shante was not only a writer but the Chief Operating Officer at Corner Store Magazine in which she provided the company with corporate structure with a solid foundation.

Shante depends on her spirituality to lead and guide her with all decisions for business and Ms Traynham is known for putting together a team of skilled individuals that come from branded companies to form powerful groups.

Ms. Traynham joined forces with Debra Antney and the Mizay Entertainment team in 2010. The power house of women executives meshed well and made a powerhouse team. Shante has worked with Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman, French Montana and Lola Monroe to name a few.  Shante then branched off from Mizay to pursue both her Marketing and Brand Agency and the film industry.

2012- Shante is now the proud CEO of Eyelash Vizion Films, she developed the film and production company and is working at a remarkable speed with three reality shows, and one reality show is with the WWF and WWE wrestlers Steve Blackman and John Cena. The energetic ball of business also has one sitcom and two movies in the incubation stage.

Eyelash Vizion LLC is Shante’s marketing and brand agency and it goes very well and even compliments her film and production company.

Shante has a sharp eye for today’s music and film industry and corporate protocol.

The works of Shante Traynham has touched many inspiring entrepreneurs as she continues to give back to humanity by teaching others the “logistics of business”.
