TV/Film Star John Amos and Son KC Amos Launch Kickstarter Campaign for NFL Feature Film, The Turk

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- As American Idol and other reality shows have brought in the public to vote for the music industry’s future stars, KC and John Amos are opening the door reality style to the  public in the creation of a major NFL feature film.

Grammy nominated director, K.C. Amos, is partnering with his dad, TV/FILM star, John Amos, in  launching an official kickstarter fundraising campaign where the public now has the opportunity to join them in creating  the official production budget for their upcoming NFL feature, The Turk.

“The Turk”, an original feature, in the making is written by John Amos. The Turk tells the story of the glory of the limelight with a glimpse into the life of one of the top NFL stars who after rising to the top of fame and fortune  suddenly faces his fears of losing everything as a result of meeting  a force beyond his own control.

“We decided we wanted to open up the creative process by allowing the public to join us in the creation of this NFL Thriller through being allowed to create the film budget reality tv style through direct access to the fund. It’s  great because it shows that people from all walks of life can come together to make a film happen”,says KC Amos, Director for the Turk.

KC Amos is a  Grammy nominated Music Video Producer and Director with music videos to credit to include top star clientele including Lil Wayne, Snoop Dog, Macy Gray. He is a feature film director and producer with celebrated indie film releases including Watermelon Heist and the Sundance Film hit, Syphon-Gun to name a few.

John Amos is best known for his starring role as James Evans on the hit CBS Series, Good Times, along with starring roles in  the Emmy Winning West Wing, All About the Andersons, and film classics like Coming To America and Die Hard II. In addition to his stellar acting career, Amos was drafted by the NFL for a brief stint with the Kansas City Chiefs, a time during which he was inspired to write the beginning of the “Turk”.

The Kickstarter campaign is set to launch on Halloween, Wednesday October 31, 2012 for the Thriller/NFL feature, The Turk, on www.kickstarter.com.
