Contra Costa County Climate Leaders Announces Vehicle Miles Traveled Workshop

Contra Costa County Climate Leaders is proud to announce our new workshop on Vehicle Miles Traveled. Held at Walnut Creek City Hall on Tuesday, October 23rd it is a full program for Contra Costa County Cities .
 
Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- 4CL (Contra Costa County Climate Leaders), a fiscally sponsored project of the non-profit Generation Green, is working with EBEW (East Bay Energy Watch (EBEW- http://www.eastbayenergywatch.com/), a collaboration effort dedicated to providing innovative energy efficiency solutions for Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, hosting workshops on reducing Vehicle Miles Traveled.

The workshop will start with a networking event for attendees along with coffee and snacks. The first presentation by the League of California Cities will be on legislative updates followed by presentations on tools and resources by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. After a short break the workshop will then move onto  presentations by Edenred on Transit Benefit Programs and 511 Contra Costa on Resources and Funding for government programs. The workshop will end with a session on Local Government perspectives with presentations by a number of Contra Costa Cities and then lunch.
4CL has hosted a number of very successful workshops with excellent turnouts and this will be no exception.
