CafeSEMA), along with Rick Hermann, national outside sales director, MacNeil Automotive, will co-host a marketing discussion at the 2012 Café SEMA powered by the SEMA Businesswomen's Network (SBN). Café SEMA will be held on Friday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. during the 2012 SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Café SEMA is an informal conversation between industry experts, SEMA exhibitors and attendees, and is limited to the first 100 participants. The session is one of nine that will be held during Café SEMA. The marketing session will focus on joint promotions between manufacturers and retailers/distributors and how these collaborations are best accomplished.
"The goal for this session is to help stimulate discussion and provide attendees with new ideas or tools," explained Marx. "We hope participants walk away with an idea of the next steps to take if they want to implement a joint promotion with a business partner."
Marx's knowledge of business-to-
business and consumer marketing and advertising spans 25 plus years. As president and CEO of The Marx Group, a full-service marketing communications company, his firm provides business development, marketing strategy and marketing communications services to the automotive and heavy duty aftermarkets.
