The sponsorship program offers vendors a range of tools to set themselves apart from the competition:
Prime-placement and auto-insertion into comparisons
The highest three bidders will be displayed at the top and bottom of a search results page, with real-time adjustments mapped to daily budgets. Sponsored listings will be clearly marked—similar to Google’s search results page.
The top bidder will be auto-inserted into a user’s personalized side-by-side comparison so that consumers will consider the sponsored listing when comparing competing products or services.
Removing competitors from vendor listings
Competitor ads will be dynamically removed from a vendor’s listing page and from related side-by-side comparisons. The “Often Compared To” widget can also be removed from a vendor’s listing page so that consumers remain focused on the vendor’s product or service.
Vendors can highly target their ads based on a range of factors including location and industry.
Vendors are given access to a robust reporting platform that shows campaign impressions, clicks, and average CPCs across a specified time period. Vendors can also view whether or not they are being outbid by competitors.
