Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- New artists "ROOTS NATION" announced today that their new album "Temperature's Rising" has been picked up by world famous VP Records.

The label is home to many well-known reggae musicians and an agreement was reached for VP to release the Roots Nation product.

The band's leader Greg Pearlman said "We're over the moon with the association as we've been working the streets for a number of years and it was not really getting us anywhere. The reggae business seems to be in a major decline as a result of too many young artists not knowing that music fans want to hear the real deal when it comes to reggae, and Roots Nation grew up with the "Studio One" Jamaican sound".

Roots Nation was introduced to VP by Mark Miller, who is assisting the band with its international business. Miller, a long time music industry professional stated that the band have their heads screwed on right. "They know real reggae fans don't go for this new different genres of reggae.. Too many genres if you ask me, and the real reggae, and I mean the kind of stuff that makes you want to dance, and to listen to it over and over again is coming back. Roots Nation seems to be heading up that charge".

The new album "TEMPERATURE's RISING" will be available shortly via VP Records distribution.
