Arash has a passion for his subject gained from his family’s long association with rugs and he makes his talks lively and interesting. He has lectured at the British Museum – see photo above, the Rug Society and the Third Age Trust.

About Arash Karimzadeh – Owner of Pars Rug Gallery
Arash Karimzadeh is an expert in decorative antique rugs and tapestries. His passion for rugs has been passed through three generations of his family, giving him an expert knowledge and a superb eye for detail.
After completing his history degree at Southampton University Arash travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia following his passion for the history and production of antique rugs.
Now his extensive knowledge covers pre-Islamic rugs, European and Oriental rugs and tapestries, Art deco as well as modern contemporary designs. He feels privileged to share his expertise with clients, helping them to incorporate the beauty and artistry of antique rugs into their lives.
