Have you ever been asked for your opinion by someone on something they do, only to have it rejected? How does that make you feel?
As a supplier, honest feedback about your product or service is absolutely vital. Only if you know what people think of you can you make decisions and take action to improve your business.
All good suppliers regularly ask their customers for feedback. Many suppliers are tempted, when they receive feedback that doesn't "fit", to rationalise and justify what they do to the customer who has been good enough to provide that feedback.
They know how they feel when they have feedback rejected - so the same applies when they reject feedback.
My tip is this; however much you don't like the message, always receive feedback openly and gratefully. That way you will be told what you really need to hear!
