By: JES Foundation Repair On October 2-4, 2012 JES hosted a free training seminar, an “Introduction to Helical Foundation Systems, Helical Soil Nails & Push Piers” worth 5 PDH for engineers, and 5 LU/CE for architects, real estate agents and other design professionals. The seminar was held in Herndon, Richmond and Norfolk, VA. Over 200 professionals attended the seminar, which covered commercial and residential structural support technologies, applications, design, installation and terminology. In addition to free PDH/LU/CE credits, attendees received a technical manual, continental breakfast, lunch and seminar t-shirt. “JES is pleased to be able to offer this free seminar to engineers, architects and other professionals about the choices available to them for deep foundation support systems; while also providing them with professional development hours to maintain their licensure,” says Jesse Waltz, P.E. and owner of JES.
