Oct. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Why would a movie that has been available for years suddenly spark attention in the world of Torrent downloading? The creator of the clean and fun slice of life movie "Did I Say Thousand Island?" set in the restaurant industry is unsure, but thrilled.

In addition to the recent spike, this movie which premiered in Colorado in 2007 continues to be added to various torrent sites with the description of "new" movie. Vertor, a verified torrent site indicates that the movie is being downloaded hundreds and sometimes over a thousand times a day somewhere in the world. "Considering that people go out to eat in every country in the world, and people are people no matter where you are," says Patti DiVita the creator of the film, she isn't surprised. "It's a movie that anyone can relate to regardless of which side of the table you are on."

"This is a good indication that when the movie is remade and used to help in the Global Water Crisis, it will be a popular movie, even if just for the curiosity factor" DiVita says about her mission found at http://www.Remake4Water.org

From the information she has gathered over time, she is poised to contact those with the power to help her mission be realized. "The world's water issues continue to increase yet public awareness doesn't keep up". DiVita says and believes that with help from the celebrities who are concerned with water, public awareness that is so crucial will indeed increase.

When asked why her Facebook page doesn't have huge numbers of "likes", she doesn't blink an eye. "Everyone thinks I'm crazy. I'm just a waitress who made a movie. I can't do this huge thing. But I remind them that the movie wasn't anything I ever wanted to do, but look at what has happened, it's way beyond my abilities. It's all over the world, and once the right person sees the marketability and possibilities of being able to help others with it, it will happen."
