Naples Daily News Joins Friends of the Library

Oct. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Naples, Fla. – (October 4, 2012)  The Naples Daily News has donated $5,000 of in-kind display advertising for Friends of the Library of Collier County’s  4th annual Red, White & Roulette fundraiser Nov. 2, 2012.  

The Naples Daily New is a long-time supporter of the Friends and literacy in Collier County.  

“The Naples Daily News’ ad support allows us to sell more tickets each year and their generosity is a big part of our running a profitable event to support the library system,” said event Red, White & Roulette co-chair Dan Kozlowski.
 
Underwriter’s for Red, White & Roulette receive event tickets, gaming chips, and advertising and promotional support leading up the event, and in the benefit’s Program Guide.

In 2011, the Friends raised nearly $30,000 at Red, White and Roulette.  This year’s goal is to increase community donations to $50,000.  All donations help fund children’s and adult programming and other important needs at 10 Collier County Public Library branches, including books, reading programs and dozens of programs for all ages.

Tax-deductible tickets are on sale now and are $100 per person.  Formal attire is optional.

Red, White & Roulette will be held at the Waldorf Astoria Naples.  It’s a fun casino night and the perfect match for the opening of the new James Bond film “Skyfall” – attendees will get to view a private collector’s display of a classic 1962 Aston Martin DB4, similar to the lethal on-screen car driven by Agent 007.  A 2012 Aston Martin will also be displayed by Aston Martin of Naples, and a 2013 Jaguar XK by Jaguar of Naples.  Attendees can win a 2012 Jaguar XF Premium as an auction prize, along with other exotic items and trips.

The fundraiser will fill the Waldorf Astoria’s Orchid Ballroom with non-stop action.  The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a sumptuous buffet.  Classic jazz will be played by Naples favorite the Jerry Stawski Trio.  A cash bar will also be available.  

Red, White & Roulette attendees can play for fun at Las Vegas-style gaming tables to win great prizes.  Full casino gaming with professional croupiers is again featured.  Table winnings convert to raffle tickets and a chance to win valuable prizes.  A non-gaming raffle, unique silent auction items, and travel packages round-out the event schedule.  Prizes donated by our generous business sponsors may include Masters Tournament and Broadway theater tickets, luxury vacations and much more.
