Attractions
Visit the Plain of Jars where an air of mystery hangs over it and the local folklore says this is where in the 6th century the great king Khun Jeuam brought his army from Southern China and defeated the evil chieftain. Visit Champasak that at 1400 years ago was the center of power in the lower Mekong Basin. Visit Laksao, where you won?t go for the town as much as you will the beautiful scenery that surrounds it. Limestone escarpments mark the entrance and the forest to the north, south and east of town is spectacular. It is something you will never forget with the wealth of rare and endangered flora and fauna.

See the Wat Sisaket, the only temple to have survived the destruction brought on by the Siamese in 1828. The interior of this temple on the main wall, and the walls in the surrounding courtyard are inset with thousands of tiny niches containing Budda images. That Luang is the most important national monument in Vientiane and is a beautiful sight to see.

Restaurants can be found in both hotels and offer a wide variety of international cuisine to chose from. The relaxing atmosphere that you?ll find here will enhance the excellent food you dine on.
