The SLS AMG Electric Drive offers an incredible 740 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, and reaches 60 miles per hour in less than 3.9 seconds, making it incredibly fast and powerful.
According to the automaker, the vehicle’s battery pack offers drivers a range of about 150 miles of mixed driving. While charge time reportedly takes more than 20 hours with an ordinary outlet, Mercedes-Benz has plans to offer a quick-charge option.
Currently, plans to market the SLS AMG Electric Drive have only been announced for Europe, but a U.S. launch may not be far behind.
