PET Processors Investment Improves Quality Control While Cutting Energy Costs

They maintain and operate a vast array of processing, handling, test and compounding equipment, including the largest collection of solid stating polymerization vessels (rotary vacuum dryers) in the world.

PET Processors contacted ROI Energy http://www.ROI-Energy.com last spring, in an effort to improve the company’s lighting.  Bob Taussig, president of ROI Energy suggested they convert their antiquated T-12 fluorescent and metal halide high bay lighting to energy efficient T5 high bay fixtures. “The difference is overwhelming.  Dramatically more light using less energy, all while realizing rebates from First Energy and garnering a significant tax benefit.  This was truly a home run for PET Processors.  They even captured additional energy savings in portions of their facility by utilizing occupancy sensors to turn fixtures off when no one was present.” explained Taussig.
