Long Island, NY Resident Completes the "Beyond Driving w/Dignity" Professional Certification Program

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- (Lake Grove, NY) - Keeping Us Safe is pleased to announce that Lake Grove, New York resident and business professional Alan Goldman has successfully completed an intensive training program and is now certified as a “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional.  

The “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional Certification program has been designed to arm qualifying professionals with the tools necessary to help older drivers and their families work through the complicated, sensitive and often-times emotional issue of age-related diminishing driving skills.  

Having received this certification, Goldman is now well-suited to provide older drivers and their families with a very specific program that will help them make appropriate decisions on how to keep the older driver safe as he or she progresses through the natural aging process.  Goldman will begin serving older drivers and their families in Long Island area of New York immediately.  

Goldman comments “We are living longer along with the opportunity to have a higher quality of life than ever before. With this longevity come new needs, concerns and priorities. These present new challenges for us.”

In addition to being the owner of Mature Personal Fitness, LLC on Long Island, Alan is also a Certified Senior Advisor, and the Chairperson of AGES (Association of Generational Experts for Seniors).  Matt Gurwell, Founder of Keeping Us Safe, states that “Alan is an active senior advocate, devoted to the welfare, well being and interests of the mature population, which makes him a perfect fit for the Beyond Driving with Dignity Professional Certification program.”

The “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional Certification program is designed to be a common-sense approach to help facilitate (and often times mediate!) rational, driving-related solutions based on tangible facts and personal observations.  “Beyond Driving with Dignity; The workbook for the families of older drivers” serves as the foundation of the certification program.
