San Diego Venture Group Invites Entrepreneurs to Compete for Funding

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 19, 2012 - SAN DIEGO –- San Diego Venture Group (SDVG) invites entrepreneurs to compete for funding by applying now to the annual PitchFest program.  Applications are submitted online at http://app.perfectforms.com/player.htm?f=ShdhgAEm.

Pitchfest applicants will have their business plans reviewed by judges comprised of a group of San Diego’s leading entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, professionals and investors.

“We usually receive about one hundred applications,” said David Titus, SDVG President. “It’s competitive, but win or lose, we’ve heard that entrepreneurs found the process helpful in identifying their company’s competitive advantages.”  

Three finalists will be chosen by the judges based upon their innovation, investor appeal and progress. Each of the three semi-finalists will then present their business plan to the hundreds of audience members at the PitchFest 2012 event in December. Audience members then cast their votes to decide how much money each of the semi-finalists receives.
