Using the approach developed for her popular Learning Connection workshop, “Writing Your Self Into Life, “ Cassandra combines in-person meetings, emails, group lectures and outside assignments to customize the program to each person’s specific goal and skills while building each group into a supportive resource for participants. This creates a fluid influence of change and organization that can fit into the busiest of schedules. Each session is limited to a maximum of six people per workshop to allow for personalization while still providing a collaborative team problem-solving approach.
Anyone interested in the program should contact the Main Street Martial Arts (MSMA) studio at (401)274-7672 to inquire. The web site is http://leadership.mainstma.org . There is a sliding scale donation for this unique and innovative program, with proceeds going to cultural arts programs to benefit urban youth in the capital city of Providence, RI and to provide for this program to be offered year-round to all seekers. Main Street Martial Arts is a family community center, artists’ collaborative, and business group developed with KALOMA, Inc. to provide cultural and martial arts, as well as lifestyle development programming, to families who cannot easily afford these services towards the purpose of sustaining strong community.
