Celebrity Shoe Consultant Rashidah Ali's Assault Case Dismissed

Sept. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY –  Celebrity shoe consultant, Rashidah Ali appeared before a grand jury this morning where Manhattan’s Supreme Court Judge Edwards ruled that the case was “dismissed with no prejudice.” She was charged with assault in January 2011 for allegedly slashing a NYC bouncer in the face during an altercation at a popular SoHo nightclub, Greenhouse, along with facing a 10 million dollar lawsuit.  

After the verdict, Ms. Ali stated “For the past year and a half, I’ve endured the backlash and ridicule due to this individual’s false assault accusation against me. It is beyond disturbing to see that someone would consider ruining an innocent person’s life for their own financial gain. This individual exposed his true intentions when he made a video uploaded to YouTube stating that he was “tryna get paid.” Justice has been served today and I’d like to thank my parents, my forever friend Ed, my attorney Mr. Gotlin and everyone who genuinely stood behind me through this very difficult time. Today is a new day. Thank you.”
