The Magazine, who featured the story on Gamany in its section on marketing and sales, was interested in the fact Gamany left his company’s home office in Vancouver in order to take advantage of the many opportunities he saw present in the Malaysian market to introduce investors to Canadian real estate.
“When it comes to marketing and sales,” says Gamany, “it’s very important to know where your customers are so you can reach them as they want to be reached, in the way most comfortable to them. For me and my company, we knew that effective marketing and sales to this region meant boots on the ground – a professional here to be the face of Canadian real estate investments – and that was me.”
Gamany also took the opportunity to answer some direct questions about the current market situation in Canada and to provide some insight into how he and other professionals in his firm are advising investors. The best piece of advice? Probably his market recap, which would give any potential investor reason to consider Canadian real estate:
“Large investment firms and sovereign wealth funds globally are still investing in Canada and rating it as the world’s safe haven,” reports Gamany. “We’ve been ranked once again by the World Economic Forum for the 4th year in a row as the safest banking system. IMF ranked Canada as the fastest growing economy in the G7 for the past 10 years and expects us to continue to lead in 2012.“
