Hodson Announces Bid For Mayor

Canby, Oregon, August 7, 2012.  Current City Councilor Brian Hodson has announced he will seek the office of Mayor of the city of Canby, Oregon.  Hodson has been serving as a City Councilor for four years.  

His decision to run for office comes after careful consideration, consulting with fellow leaders and officials, and discussion with his family.  With his dedication and expertise he has shown as a City Councilor, this will transcend well to the role as mayor of the city.  His core platform has been and will continue to be:  leadership, listening to the people of the city, and strategic, well-thought planning for Canby’s future.  

Hodson has resided in Canby for 8 years.  He has been married for 10 years to his wife, Meg Hodson.  They have three children:  Emma (8), Dylan (6), and Owen (3).  Hodson is the manager of Starbucks Coffee.  He also serves as President of the local Chamber of Commerce.
